Want to learn the basics of Olympic Weightlifting?
This course is the perfect introduction!
The purpose of this course is to teach you the basics of Olympic Weightlifting so you can start to introduce it into your training.
Over the 6 weeks we will cover each of the Olympic Lifts (snatch, clean and jerk) and accompanying accessory lifts.
You will have one face-to-face group session each week. Plus, you will also have access to 2 additional homework sessions to practice what we have covered in each session. These sessions can be completed on their own or added on to the start of one of your training sessions.
You will also have open gym access for the duration of the course at our gym if you’d like to use it.
Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for anyone looking to:
learn the basics of Olympic Weightlifting
learn how to Snatch, Clean and Jerk
improve lifting technique or learn new skills
Experience required: A basic understanding of compound lifts is recommended (back squat, deadlift, strict press, etc.). But no previous weightlifting experience required.

Registration for for Season 3 is now open. The course will be held at BUILDBOX, Edinburgh. Each session will last 60-75mins and is capped at 8 people. The course is open to both existing members and non-members.
